John Manning is the managing partner of the firm. He has over 30 years of experience in accounting and taxation. John serves clients of the firm who represent a diverse spectrum of small businesses in various industries including, proprietary schools, machine and tool manufacturers, professional businesses, and non-profit organizations. John annually attends the United States Department of Education Federal Student Aid Conference John is a member of the AICPA and OSCPA and is licensed in Ohio, Michigan, and Florida.

• He served on the Board of Trustees for Catholic Social Services of Miami Valley and is a member of the Northridge Optimist Club.

John M. Keller, CPA

Certified Public Accountant – Business Assurance & Quality Control Partner, with over 40 Years of Experience

John Keller is the quality assurance partner of the firm. He has over 40 years of experience in the accounting profession.

Not only does John handle the firm’s quality control, but he also performs external peer reviews of accounting and audit practices for compliance with the laws and regulations governing CPA firms. He serves as Chairperson for the AICPA Peer Review Board.

John has a unique insight into an array of business industries and has substantial knowledge in auditing, accounting, taxation, governmental contracts, and small business development. He draws this knowledge through years of experience, peer reviews, continuing education, and community involvement.

John is a member of the AICPA and OSCPA and is licensed in Ohio and Montana. He is dedicated to community development and served on numerous boards and committees.

Sandra L. Comer, CPA

Certified Public Accountant – Audit & Small Business Partner, Over 20 Years of Experience.

Sandra has over 20 years of experience and has been with the firm since graduating from Wright State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She has been a CPA since 1992 when she passed the exam in her first sitting.

Sandra provides accounting and tax services to a wide range of businesses and individuals in numerous industries. She is responsible to stay current on changes in the accounting and auditing areas as well as taxation. In the private sector, she has many small businesses and individual clients in which she has an array of professional experience in taxation, payroll, pension plans, fringe benefit plans, financial reporting, business software applications, and other items affecting businesses. Her clientele includes real estate professionals and developers, medical and dental practices, construction-related industries, governmental entities, and other small businesses.

In addition, Sandra is a partner in charge of our government audit division. Her auditing experience includes providing audit services to villages, townships, HUD-assisted projects, schools, and other nonprofit entities receiving federal and state funds.

Sandra is a member of the AICPA and OSCPA and is involved in women’s issues in business.

John C. Bensman, CPA

Certified Public Accountant – Tax Practice Partner, with over 40 Years of Experience

John Bensman directs the tax compliance, tax advisory services, and estate and gift planning for our firm. He provides long-range tax planning and strategy as well as representation before tax authorities. The foundation for the growth of our firm has been the ability of each staff member to understand the tax complications of each client and to provide proactive recommendations and in-depth counseling tailored to the client’s individual needs.

John is a member of the AICPA and OSCPA, with an emphasis on Tax Special Interest Sections.

Craig L. Steinke, CPA

Certified Public Accountant

Craig L. Steinke, CPA began his accounting career with Manning & Associates CPAs, LLC in 1996 after graduating from Bluffton College with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.

Craig is the Manager of our tax department and assists the Partner/Members of the firm in tax research projects and preparation of individual, business, and other income tax returns. He has an array of experience in Federal, multi-State and multi-city taxation.

Craig is a member of the AICPA and OSCPA.
